Il Designer:
Wes Gordon nasce ad Atlanta, Georgia, e successivamente si trasferisce a Londra, dove frequenta la celeberrima Central Saint Martins University of Art and Design (nella quale, ricordiamo, sono usciti designer del calibro di Stella McCartney, John Galliano ed Alexander McQueen). È proprio qui che ottiene il primo grande riconoscimento: nel 2009 gli viene infatti assegnato il grande onore di chiudere la prestigiosa sfilata annuale dell'università con la propria collezione, che suscita moltissimo entusiasmo. Da allora il nome Wes Gordon ha iniziato a diventare famoso in tutta Londra (prima) e nel mondo (poi) ed ora la sua collezione viene venduta da negozi del calibro di "Saks Fifth Avenue" e "Harrods".
The Designer:
Wes Gordon was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but then he moved to London, where he attended the famous Central Saint Martins University of Art and Design (in which also designers like Stella McCartney, John Galliano and Alexander McQuenn have previoulsy studied). It's there that he obtained his first great award: in 2009 he was chosen as the designer who had to close with his collection the prestigious annual University's press show. That collection generated a lot of enthusiasm and from that moment on Gordon has started to be known in all London (first) and in the whole world (then). Now his creations are sold in shops like "Saks Fifth Avenue" and "Harrods".
