Né migliore né peggiore: solo diverso - Neither better nor worse: just different

Più scrivo su questo blog, più mi rendo conto che non posso (e soprattutto non voglio) renderlo il mio angolino felice, lontano da qualsiasi problema: pur volendo trattare qui di moda e di argomenti legati all'ambito del costume, ho realizzato che non posso separare questo micro-cosmo (fatto di abiti, accessori, glamour, esclusività, ricercatezza ecc) dal mondo reale, spesso ben diverso da quello rappresentato sulle pagine di Vogue.
Girando anche tra i cosiddetti "fashion blog", ho notato spesso la tendenza a considerare il proprio spazio virtuale come un luogo lontano dalla realtà e separato da tutto ciò che è il mondo vero, preso sia nella sua dimensione personale che globale: persino i post apparentemente più personali, nei quali le varie "padrone di casa" vengono fotografate nelle loro mises, sembrano essere distaccati sia da quella che è la loro realtà quotidiana (fatta, magari, anche di studio, lavoro ed altri interessi, oltre che di uscite, serate ed "outfits") sia, soprattutto, dal mondo esterno (che racchiude diversi ambiti: politica, economia, ambiente ecc).
Un esempio italiano? In NESSUN* blog di moda ho letto anche solo un vago accenno alle recenti manifestazioni studentesche tenutesi nelle maggiori città italiane, eppure credo che il 95% delle fashion blogger nostrane siano in età universitaria/scolastica.
Sinceramente non voglio perdere del tempo chiedendomi il perché di questo specifico fenomeno (forse non volevano intaccare il blog con argomenti che non c'entravano? Oppure quello che è successo non era di loro interesse? O forse non sapevano neppure ciò che stava succedendo? -spero vivamente che la risposta non sia una delle ultime due ipotesi-), ma vorrei piuttosto provare nel concreto ad essere un qualcosa di diverso.
Della serie: credo sia possibile parlare nello stesso luogo della sfilata di Jacobs e della crisi economica mondiale, senza per questo sfociare nell'intellettualismo o, peggio, nella noia.


* Ovviamente neanche io allora trattai dell'argomento, ma fu una scelta voluta, proprio perché non riuscivo a capire se l'argomento in questione fosse coerente con il taglio che volevo dare a questo blog (taglio che, tra l'altro, non ho ancora scelto, ma che sto cercando di definire di post in post).


E voi, o miei lettori, che cosa ne pensate? Credete sia possibile conciliare più argomenti riuscendo a mantenere un filone generale? Sono aperta a qualsiasi consiglio!! :)

The more I write this blog, the more I realize I can’t let it be just my little piece of heaven, far away from any kind of problem: although I want to deal with fashion and other topics related to custom, I’ve got aware of the fact that I cannot separate this micro-cosmos (which is made up of clothes, accessories, glamour, exclusivity, elegance etc) from the real world, which is often really different from the one represented in the pages of Vogue.

Also by giving a look at the so called “fashion blogs” I’ve often noticed the tendency to consider their virtual spaces as a places far from everything that belongs to the real world, both the personal and the global one: even those posts that seem to be more personal (where the “mistresses of the house” are photographed in their looks) are detached both from their everyday reality (which is maybe also made of studying, working and other interests besides night outs, soirées and outfits) and, above all, from the outside world (which holds different areas: politics, economics, environment etc).

An example about Italy? I haven’t read in ANY Italian fashion blog even a small mention to the recent student protests that have taken place in several Italian cities; this fact seemed really strange to me, as about the 95% of Italian fashion bloggers are in their school/university age.

Honestly, I really don’t want to waste my time questioning myself about the reasons of this specific phenomenon (maybe they didn’t want to write in their blogs something misleading from their main topic? Or they weren’t interested in what was going on? Or maybe they weren’t even aware of what was happening? –I really hope that the answer does not correspond to one of the last two hypothesis-), but I’d rather like to try to be something concretely different.

I mean, I think it could be possible to talk in the same place about both the latest Marc Jacobs’ fashion show and the economical crisis, without having to end up with intellectualism or, worse, boredom.

* I’d like to specify that neither I did deal with that topic, but that was made on purpose, as I didn’t manage to understand if that topic was consistent with the kind of note I wanted this blog to have (note that, btw, I haven’t chosen yet, but which I’m trying to define post by post).

And what about you, my sweet readers, what do you think about this? Do you think it could be possible to conciliate a higher number of topics maintaining at the same time a main subject? I’m opened to any kind of advise!! :)
